As part of the itools python library, itools.odf [1] provides an ODF handler. With the itools translation services, a translation infrastructure system allowing the ODF document translation and management in several languages has been developed.

In order to allow high-quality and trackability,  itools.odf also comes with an ODF Internationalization Test Suite [2] that converts .po and .xliff files (essential for translation) into ODF documents and back. This suite already counts more than 250 test documents. An online demo is also provided [3].
