This wiki is provided by the OASIS standards consortium as a collaborative tool for members of the OASIS OpenDocument Technical Committee, who are permited to post to its pages.

Robin Cover tracks the OpenOffice.org community with its goal to "create the leading international office suite that will run on all major platforms and provide access to all functionality and data through open-component based APIs and an XML-based file format." 

Robin Cover's site supplies a provisional collection of references on XML file formats used in office applications.

The XML project contains the implementation of the OASIS OpenDocument file format and of the OpenOffice.org XML file format. The OASIS OpenDocument format is the native file format of OpenOffice.org 2.0, while OpenOffice.org XML is the native file format of OpenOffice.org 1.0. The XML project further contains the framework for the XML based filters.
