Mobile Office for Symbian devices released

OASIS Launches OpenDocument XML.org

The OASIS international standards consortium today launched a new web site, OpenDocument XML.org, designed to serve as the official community gathering place and information resource for the OpenDocument Format (ODF). An international standard approved by OASIS, ISO and IEC, OpenDocument enables users of varying office products to freely exchange documents.

OpenOffice.org Conference: ODF Track Information

OpenOffice.org Conference 2006 will present a special track dedicated to ODF topics beginning with a panel discussion on September 13th in Lyon, France.

Participants include executives and distinguished engineers from IBM and Sun. Charles Schulz of Ars Arpeta and active OASIS ODF TC member will host.
