New ODF Toolkit Project announced by OpenOffice.org

A new ODF Toolkit project has just been announced by OpenOffice.org. Details about the project can be found on the project homepage and in Jürgen Schmidt's blog entry. The ODF Toolkit project should make it easier for developers to add ODF support to their applications.

OpenDocument v1.1 Submitted for OASIS Standardization

The OASIS OpenDocument Technical Committee had submitted OpenDocument v1.1 to be considered as an OASIS Standard. Balloting will take place 16-31 January 2007.
